CEEPUS Tasting the rural development

The event aims to connect theoretical knowledge in regional and rural development with practical experience in the field. Given our shared academic focus on rural development, we intend to organize the event in cooperation with the National Rural Network of the Czech Republic, including a seminar presenting examples of good practice from the region.  The programme will consist of (and will be more detailed later):
An initial meeting at CZU in Prague. A field trip with overnight outside of Prague, including excursions, case study assignments, and opportunities to experience regional products,
Student presentations showcasing examples of good rural development practices from their respective regions.
The event is planned for October 21 - 23, 2026.
